Let’s rewind a bit here and take a look at the weekend before this weekend. You know, the one where awesome things happened and I just skipped over all of them entirely because I suck.
Two Weekends Ago Recap
- Ashley came to visit and we said goodbye to Derek. There might have been tears and there was definitely some McDonalds breakfast sandwiches (Note to self: when you want a Sausage McMuffin with Egg, don’t forget to say WITH EGG)
- My favorite Chicago blogger ladies all got together for a Glee party at Erin’s house and to record the epic Love Harder video for Brandy
- Ashley and I spent Sunday brunching with Jamie and being touristy in the city
This Weekend Update
- On Thursday I had a date. And it was great. And I would say more but he reads this so we’ll leave it at that.
- On Friday I had dinner with the ex-boyfriend, which could have gone disasterously wrong but ended up okay. And we saw In The Heights which was absolutely incredible.
- On Saturday this kid took me to the Boston Wine Expo. And it was fun. And we dressed up like idiots, courtesy of The Second Glass
- Sunday was spent brunching and getting some work done (while watching an exorbitant amount of Ally McBeal. Robert Downey Jr? Call me. Seriously.) and I even made my dad a blog. Yep, my dad is a blogger. Awesome.
Now it’s time to get serious and start class. Here we go.

Haha it’s called Joyful Juliana I think — I use it on picnik.com for photo edits since I don’t have photoshop.
Thanks! I don’t have a premium account at Picnik so I cannot use it there but I did find the font online so I downloaded it to install on my laptop (I use Photoshop Elements and Picasa (free) for photo editing).

Isn’t it though? A little weird because now he knows about this one presumably and that I have internet friends that keep saying hi but that’s okay. Plus I got to design it which was fun (we have matching themes!)

True story. I’ve been burned by this myself before, and it sucks. Sausage McMuffin sans egg is terrible.

I’m so glad that the Sausage McMuffin comes without an egg now. I got so sick of having to say NO EGG when I ordered it. Now, the rest of humanity has to suffer…and I’m really ok with that.
